Bio

I started my life in a small town just north of Boston, Massachusetts.  Being the youngest of two, I always felt like I couldn’t relate to my brother, who was 4 years older, and therefore always had to make my own fun.  I grew up with the only child mentality and would find hours of entertainment with the smallest of things.  All through my childhood, my parents did try to encourage my creativity by throwing money at teachers and instructors, but they did very little in the motivation of truely following through.  Because of this, I would jump from one activity to another, never staying more than a few months.  The only thing that had captured my eye from day one was acting.

When I was 5, my dad took me to my very first movie.  I believe it was Nightmare on Elm Street part 1 or 2.  It’s ok, this was a different time, and my dad always taught me that movies were not real, and as exciting and engrossing as they are, the monsters did not exist and therefore could not hurt me.  After the movie all I could think about is how much I wish I could do that.  From that day on, that would be the overwhelming theme of my life.

Growing up, I would try to find times to act as often as I could.  Most of it would be done by myself, but I would also get in front of an audience once in a while either through school or church plays.  Unfortunately as life moved on, I got older, and the need to earn money became more and more important.  So after high school, I went into the work force and earned a paycheck in hopes that one day I would make it to Hollywood.

After a year out of high school, I got the iching to go back to school.  So I applied, got accepted and went to a college halfway across the country.  I only last ed a year, but while there I was in the drama department, and I acted as much as I could.  I’ll tell you, there was no better thrill than to wake up on some days and know my only job today was to entertain. It was also during this time I started to host a show on our school radio station.  Unfortunately I wasn’t going to my non-acting classes and ended up not going back.  Instead I came home again and figured if I worked hard for a year, I could save up some money and move to L.A.

That year turned into 5.  During those 5 years, my acting opportunities dwindled away and I didn’t have the avenues I did before.  In this span, I started to fall in love more with my passion for audio and audio performing.  Then, in August of ‘04, someone I knew from school got ahold of me and we started talking online.  She told me that she had moved to L.A. to persue her career as well and ended up lighting a flame under my butt to get back on the ball.  It was also at this time that I was talking to a seperate friend from my hometown and was telling him that I wanted to move to L.A. and do this.  In one of the most selfless and amazing things anyone has ever done for me, he gave me the money I would need to move to L.A.

By October of that same year I was in L.A., and I was following my dream, one baby step at a time.
